My course is about teaching the basics of guitar playing, learning the fretboard, and expanding on simple chords one at a time to make them sound unique and open your mind up to different sounds.
I have been playing guitar for 11 years and I have been in multiple projects/bands playing multiple different genres of music. To be a good musician you have to appreciate good music.
To start, I will demonstrate how a guitar works in terms of playing individual notes, and how they can make a chord if the notes fit together, and I’ll tell about how the fretboard works, so it’s easier to understand how to make chords and later, play songs easily. I will go over chord sheets and the student will decide what chord they like the sound of the most, then I will teach the one chord, then expand on it, adding and taking away notes. Experimenting with it and showing how to make a big powerful chord from a basic chord. From there, we will tackle other chords until the fretboard is learned. I will suggest certain songs for the student to listen to, and I will also take requests later if they would like to learn a certain song.
